Adama Pacode (1970) -- Mixed Media
Artist Profile
Adama Pacode
Adama was born October 2, 1970 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, where he lives and works. His paintings are evidence of myths and rituals not only of his country but of all Africans. It applies to the study of these myths by treating them not as isolated objects, making them absurd and incomprehensible, but as the spokesman of living forces, deities he describes.
