The show opened on Saturday 29th May 2010 at the Spa Belohorad, Czech republic, in the modern four stars resort Tree of life with the support of the management of the resort and with cooperation of Dr. Marie Imbrova, the private collector of Zimbabwe art.

As a former diplomat, Marie has supported Lazarus Takawira's family from 2006 and has helped promote his sculptures at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare, Bulawayo and in Nairobi, Kenya.

After leaving diplomatic services, Marie published the late Celia Winter Irving book ' Spirit of Woman' in 2009 that featured work by Lazarus Takawira.

The book was launched last year in the private Gallery Emil Julis in Cernicce, Czech Republic and during the Intwasa festival in Bulawayo, and she delivered it to Zimbabwe for sale.

Marie Imbrova has 18 works of art by the artist Lazarus Takawira in her collection. Some of them like the African Queen are really monumental and are placed and fixed in her own house.

Pieces such as proud woman, nice girl, daughters and mothers were made in Ruwa, on Lazarus farm, between 2006 to 2009 and represent the characteristic style of Takawira. Now they are surrounded by modern interior and have attracted the visitors from Czech Republic, Germany, Holland, Swiss and Russia.

The exhibition at the Spa resort will end in October 2010.
