City Center GalleryWalk
By AfricanColours.com
Art is everywhere in Nairobi. How many times have you walked down the streets without even noticing the creative artworks around: a randomly placed sculpture, some creative mosaic-style tile work on a wall? Or walked into a building without taking a glance on the wall to appreciate a painting by an artist in Kenya ?

The City Centre of Nairobi is a dynamic, vibrant and yet an often feared and avoided location. Many residents of Nairobi are missing the gifts contained within its very own downtown streets.
AfricanColours.com and Nairobi Java Coffee House, in partnership with other arts and cultural institutions will present the City Centre Chester House Gallery Walk. Featuring arts and cultural institutions, galleries and museums located within the heart of downtown Nairobi.
The Walk will take place September 2006. Meet at the new Nairobi Java House at Koinange Lane off Koinange Street.
