Ensarte Award Winners To Be Announced Soon

Plastic artists winners of Ensarte/2010 award will be announced on 29 April 2010, at Exposition International Hall (Siexpo), in Luanda, says Ensarte commissioner, Jorge Gumbe.

According to Jorge Gumbe, after the consideration of quality work by the artists, a collective exhibition of 18 paintings and 8 sculptures will be take place at a later date.

This competition counts on participation of artists from provinces such as Luanda, Kwanza Sul, Bié, Huambo and Huíla.

Ensarte distinguishes creators of plastic arts in categories for great awards of sculptures and painting, including second places for special prizes for provinces, youth award and honourable mention.

Ensarte contest, founded by Angola Insurance Company (ENSA) in 1991, is organized every two years and aims at contributing to the development of national culture, encouraging creativity of Angola’s adult plastic artist and youth, below 30 years, respectively.
