Final Call for the Courier Photo Award Competition

15 October is the new deadline for the "2010 ACP Photo Competition" organised by The Courier. This is your last chance to participate and win. Don't hesitate any longer and be sure that your photos are eligible.

The topics of the photo award African, Caribbean and Pacific countries and development: trade, culture, tradition, climate change, science and technology.

Who can participate? All young photographers from ACP countries under 30.
The prize: An international jury of experts will vote on the best photo and the winner will receive 1,000 euros. Get involved!

The Courier (http://www.acp-eucourier.info/) is the European Commission's magazine on cooperation between African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries and the European Union.

The Courier’s photo competition is open to young photographers (amateur and professional) under the age of 30 years from ACP countries.

The competition is now open and will end the 15 of September.

Through this competition, The Courier aims to increase the visibility of young photographers and encourage the use of photography as a tool to reflect and describe the society and the world around us.

The theme of the award is broad, and represents an invitation to investigate some of the most complex issues of our time.

The topics are:

Trade, Culture, Tradition, Science and technology, Climate change and their relations with development.

The winner will be selected by an international jury made up of professionals in the field, and will receive 1,000 euros.

Events and exhibitions will also be held in Brussels.
