The Great 2010 African Art Banner
By Munyaradzi Muzenda

The Great 2010 African Art Banner is inviting 10 talented and gifted emerging artists from each African country to participate in the construction of the Great African Art Banner.

Each artist is expected to do a painting that depicts the positive/unspoken side of Africa - the natural beauty, heritage and cultures of Africa and her people.

Unity For Development By Unknown

Unity for development

The Great 2010 African Art Banner is a collection of 530 different paintings from 53 African countries, done by 10 emerging gifted and talented artists in the areas of fine Art(Painting on cloth). Each artist will put his/her thoughts, dreams, aspiration or story on a piece of cloth that is 1mx1m in size.

All the paintings will then be put together to form this huge banner that is 530m long as a sign of African unity, love, dialogue, peace and development. This is historic in the sense that different paintings from different backgrounds will all be put together to form this huge Banner of meaning and dialogue.
