Greatmore Studios has been successfully running for 13 years. They have 14 studios on site where they run two programmes: the Permanent Resident Artist Programme and the Visiting Artist programme.

Fundraising Event.

Greatmore is a non-profit organisation and relies on funding in order to facilitate the programs that they run.

In this light, Greratmore Studios hopes to launch the Sponsor a Studio initiative. Greratmore needs 8 studios sponsored and so on the 5th August, 2011, come and see what they are all about.

Renowned South African artist William Kentridge will be giving a talk and presentation on Greatmore Studios. Also, there will be an open studio and an exhibition, in support of artists of Greatmore.

Tickets are going for R150 and can be purchased before the event from Liesa Hilliar (email info@greatmoreart.org, tel +27 021 447 9699).

Time :17:30 - Light snacks and refreshments.
        18:00-William Kentridge talk and presentation on Greatmore Studios.
        19:00-Open studios and an exhibition supporting artists of Greatmore.
