Invisible Cinema, Visible Minority: A Photographic Book by Samuel Nja Kwa
Press Release | Dagan Editions
This beautiful book, richly illustrated by Samuel Nja Kwa's photographs, gives us a glimpse of the wealth of talent that Carribean French actors and French actors of African descent offer to the French cinema where they are largely relegated, condemned to stay invisible and forgotten.

Invisible Cinema Visible Minority
Many of those, whom the photographer's lens invites us to discover, have appeared in more foreign than French films, despite being citizens or residents of France.
Samuel Nja Kwa is a photographer since 1996, lives and works in Paris. For many years, he photographed icons of jazz and African rhythms. He participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe and Africa. The series Invisible Cinema Visible Minority is his latest photographic project.
To be published in October 2011 by Dagan Editions, Invisible Cinema Visible Minority features foreword by Jenny Alpha.
It is suitable for all age groups and will be available in a 156 page, paperback, 19 x 23 cm version, for 35 €
