Serge Attukwei clottey is a young but seasoned artist performer with a record of accomplishment in the artistic, educational and social areas.  A native of Ghana,  he lives at Labadi, born in Accra. Attukwei is a eldest son of Seth Clottey a famous Ghanaian artist. He studied art as a career in Ghanatta College of Art and Design and Escola Guignard University of Art Brazil.

I started spending the weekends with my father in his studio popularly known as Wild Apple and since then I develop a great love for art, so my father begins setting me up with poster colours at a tender age.

I loved my works though it was not good and also I am confident in all work I do even when I started painting with no conceived idea of it. Now my love for art based on nature and African activities in towns, festivals, cities,  markets and beaches scene on daily lives.

I derive my source of inspiration and portray on my canvas with raw colours; serves as the stimulus to motivate the viewer’s field of interest and move the eyes along the surface with colourful acrylic on board strokes application of brushes; knife and sometimes other things to create a composition which best suit my subjects.

I work in a variety of media including acrylics, watercolours, mixed-media and my sculpture pieces was derive after my recent trip from Brazil. Has really inspired of a fascinating of Ghanaian and Brazilian   culture blending with both art and fashion world.

My master and father of my artistic background, Seth Clottey and Hon. Emmanuel Klotei Tetteh , who has  brought me this far.

In contesting in many competitions and exhibited my pieces both Ghana and abroad, Besides, I work with an organization called Junior Art Club (JAC) and Everimages Career Consult.

It an organization that unearths the creative and artistic talents of disadvantaged children and youth in urban slums using both educational and social approaches.

I decided to apply as an art volunteer. I am now able to teach children all aspects of art, and pass on all that I have learnt.

I now hope there will be successful opportunities.
