8th Edition of Docudays Ua Film Festival

Submit your film to the 8th edition of Docudays Ua

We have opened submissions for the next, 8th International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA. The Festival will be held on March 25—31, 2011 in Kyiv, Ukraine.  

Traditionally the Festival has:

-  Human Rights Awards
-  Main International Competition Awards and
-  Audience Awards 

The main idea of the festival is to acquaint the Ukrainian audience with the Best Art -Documentary, and Best Documentary on Human Rights.

We would be very glad to include your film on the selection as part of the festivals program. 

Please find enclosed the Regulation and the Entryform.

In case of your consent I shall highly appreciate your filling the Entry form and sending the DVD and documents to the following address:

      - Entryform 
      - Still from film 
      - Photos of the director 
      - Brief Synopsis 
      - Brief note about director (filmography)
      - Full film credits 
      - Dialogue list in English, Russian or Ukrainian. 

Submission deadline is November 30, 2010. 

The Selection Committee will inform applicants about its decision not later than February 10, 2011. We would greatly appreciate it if you enter your documentary as early as possible.

For the screening of the film the DVD copy is enough.

The directors or producers of films selected to participate in the Festival are invited to  personally participate in the Festival. The Festival organizers will cover their hotel accommodation, compensate travel expenses and subsistence expenses. Every successful film shall be represented by only one person.
