Artist Profile

Hendrick Lilanga, born in 1974  in Dar es salaam,Tanzania from the Makonde tribe, is the grandson to renouned Tingtinga style artist George Lilanga and practices Lilanga’s Art Style.

He completed school in Tanga, Pangani in 1993 and moved to Dar es salaam to join with George Lilanga to learn more about Art.

From then he practiced until he was ready to be a freelance artists in 1998. He has since then participated in many national and international art forums.
