Artist Profile

Born in the mid 50's, the period of all claims in Africa, in the high plains of Golungo well irrigated by the river and wonderful kwanza Zenza, Marcela Costa stands today with the vast Amazon visual arts in Angola.

Marked by tenacious inner beliefs, she strives to express this anthropological stamping at the loom, and brush after its passage in different shapes and advanced training in Luanda, Stockholm, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and other countries where it continues exchanging experiences in workshop seminars, conferences etc

With art in the blood and talented hands, coupled with strong convictions and an organizational unexpected modesty, Marcela Martins Costa became a cultural personality.
