Sithabile Mlotshwa
Sithabile Mlotshwa, born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, is undergoing a development which is characteristic of many African artists. From the moment she moved to Europe, she came in a personal crisis. She lost her land, her history and her identity. "Happy but very unhappy, in love but lonely, home but far from home" she was faced by a typically Western, neo-colonialist pattern of expectation.
