Artist Profile

I started painting from 2003 but used to practice painting with different artists in Uganda before that. I use oil and acrylics among other Media on canvas, backcloth, and sacks and on art papers. The source of inspiration is drawn from day to day activities done mainly by African women, Birds, fish, butterflies among other cultural activities done by different African societies. As a professional artist, I love painting, traveling, watching movies, plays among other adventurous activities.

I dream of painting and ask God to die a world  famous painter. Any one interested in my works can visit my studio in  Kampala Nakulabye hoima rd, makerere university art gallery, Tulifanya art gallery and Afriart gallery kamokya, Aid Child Kayabwe Masaka, Gallery Watatu Nairobi, Ramoma Art Gallery park land avenue Nairobi, Evere commune Brussels Belgium, NATTA art in east Europe, Rue-Dela Madeleine 17 Bruxelles, Holland  Mill hospital and others.

I am currently a member of the Uganda artists association (UAA), Uganda German culture society (UGCS Kampala Uganda), Butterfly project in Uganda working with deprived school children and KisoBOKA art centre based in Jinja.

I have attained a Bachelor’s degree in industrial and fine arts at Makerere University Kampala Uganda, together with a computer certificate course by CAMARA organization from Ireland, UCAE certificate, UCE certificateE and PLE certificate from Uganda.

2010: Nalufanya hospital ART AND HEALTH, with sick children, sec sch students, street kids, and community children, Jinja.
