What am up to now

Currently working on a series of embroideries just over two meters high and 80 cm wide using traditional cooking spoons as the starting point to explore a variety of South African "portraits." Am excited by rock art imagery, initiation practices, economic survival strategies and of being part of the landscape. Studio is full of half finished clay figures that explore the same issues.'
